Business Minor

Available for Non-Business Students

Students pursuing degrees outside the College of Business Administration are eligible to complete a minor in Business. This minor will provide students the fundamental knowledge, skills and competencies in core areas of business.

It will be of benefit to students who wish to a) improve their skills and credentials for employment and professional development, b) obtain a broad understanding of business processes and the business environment, or c) prepare for future graduate studies in business related disciplines.

At least 15 of the 21 credits required for the minor must be completed at 香港六合彩开奖. Students must achieve a grade point average of at least 2.0 in the Business minor coursework in order to be certified for completion of the minor.

  • Recommended Sequence of Courses

    Students interested in pursuing a minor in Business should contact the Business Welcome Center Office, CF 112, to speak with an academic advisor. To be accepted into the minor program, undergraduate students must be pursuing a major program other than Accounting or Business Administration and must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Students will be assigned an academic advisor for the Business minor program. That advisor will work with the student to develop a sequence of courses in conjunction with the student's major program and discuss the feasibility of completing both major and minor without extending the expected graduation date. The course sequence and timing below is a suggestion and will be adapted as appropriate to meet the individual student needs.
